MEETING POINTS/ ACCESS

The Mt. Fuji Guides (Fuji Outdoor) Office just outside of Otome Exit of Gotemba Station is our primary meet up location.

Gotemba Station is located roughly 100 kms from central Tokyo offers easy access from Shinjuku Station in Central Tokyo by both highway bus, Romance car (train) and also from Hakone.

We always recommend staying in Gotemba the night before your trip.

For Group 1 Day tours, you may choose to meet up at either the Mt. Fuji Guides (Fuji Outdoor) Gotemba Office OR Shinjuku (Central Tokyo).

The meeting point is outside the West Gate Uniqlo.

Gotemba Station is located in the Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. It is served by the Gotemba Line of Central Japan Railway Company. The station is about 100 kilometers away from central Tokyo, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours by train.

There are several ways to access Gotemba Station from central Tokyo; here is the easiest way:

• Highway Bus: There are several highway buses that run between central Tokyo and Gotemba Station. The journey takes about 2.5 hours.
• Odakyu Romancecar: Take the Odakyu Romancecar from Shinjuku Station to Gotemba Station. The journey takes about 2 hours.
  *This option is hard to navigate in English so its best to purchase tickets at a counter.
