The accommodation for the night is at an elevation of 3700m (on the crater rim!) where we will enjoy a curry dinner upon arrival.

The hike time to the summit on Day 2 is roughly 30-40 mins.
The summit features a Shrine (you can get your summit stamp here), gift shops and even a post office to send a unique post card. Given favorable weather, the summit offers fantastic views and the option of a walk around the crater (highly dependent on weather and energy levels).
*open times of the Shrine and shops are subject to change.
After celebrating reaching Japan's highest point, our descent begins.
Though the descent time can vary depending on the conditions, the average time is around 4-5 hours.

From here we will transport you back to Gotemba Station where the tour ends.
The drive time to Gotemba is around 1 hour.
